The Wild Fig Young Entrepreneur Support (YES) Awards is a competition that encourages Central Coast Year 11 Business Studies students to test their entrepreneurial potential.
Launched in 2013 as part of Wild Fig’s commitment to support local youth and business on the Central Coast, the YES Awards ran for 7 consecutive years prior to COVID-19.
The Awards invite the Central Coast's next round of school leavers to come up with a unique business idea and submit a comprehensive business plan and pitch to support their idea.
Individual prizes of $1,000, $300 and $200 are awarded to the top 3 finalists after pitching their ideas before a panel of judges and an audience consisting of local business owners, teachers and parents.
