A Way with Words

Phaedra's passion for writing began at the age of eight when she wrote and illustrated her first storybook, a children's tale called, Harold the Field Mouse. While the story was never published, the experience of writing this tale cemented a lifelong love of reading and writing.

Her vision to write for a living was realised during a successful ten-year corporate career in the financial services sector writing self-paced multimedia training courses, educational content and user manuals. This experience, together with additional studies, provided Phaedra with a solid foundation to embark on a full time professional writing and editing career.

In 2005 Phaedra took a leap of faith and started her own business. Today she is living the dream, helping others, no matter where in the world they are located, fulfil their vision of producing a book and working with business owners from various industry sectors to help them share their brand stories.

On larger projects, Phaedra manages a team of talented professionals, all experts in their field. They include sub-editors, proofreaders, indexers, typesetters, publishers, artists and printers, to provide clients with a concept to completion service.
